During weekend people here prefers to spend it in the beautiful beaches in Fujairah and do some fishing. You will be surprise by the different kind of fishes available here.Charters are available for day or half day charters. The boat is based in the Fujairah Marine club Marina. The boats travel out to the anchored ships off Fujairah which are between 8 – 16 miles off Fujairah. The usually target here are Dorado, Tuna, Kingfish, Cobia, Queenfish, Orange Spot Trevally, Big Eye Trevally, Great Barracuda, Yellowtail Barracuda, Emperor, Grouper, and Bonito.

2. SNORKELING AND DIVING

4. WATCH BULL BUTTING

Bull Butting

During weekend on winter, see the famous Fujairah bullfights – a bloodless sport in which two bulls test their strength against one another. Every Friday afternoon at 4.30 the pickups roll in with bulls, ready to fight without matador or banderillas. This is a unique sport which can only be seen in Fujairah

5. HIKING

Hiking

It is a sport adventure from the rocky hills of Fujairah such as the Hajar Mountain. This will surely provides breathtaking view of terraced field, villages and wadis. Aside from the pleasure that you will feel while climbing you will see some animals such as goats, a few birds, trees and cane reeds, a light scattering of wild lavender and some other mountains shrubs and flowers. We did also see a couple of tiny lizards. There are also a lot of tiny springs that just appear out of nowhere and then disappear back into the ground after just a few meters.

6. SHOPPING AT THE MARKET OR "SOUK"

Friday Market

A lot of shops and shopping malls in this city like Fujairah Trade center and Al Safeer Mall but the tourist and guest from the nearby city prefer to shop at the market or souk. Here you can find traditional items that reflect the history of Fujairah or the Emirates such as the "Friday Market". Just remember prices here are competitive and bargaining is a must.
