Sharjah Art Museum - Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
It is the largest museum in the Middle East that introduced you into a world of artistic excellence exploring the history of the region through paintings and other art forms. This was inaugurated on April 9, 1997 under the supervision of His Highness Dr. Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah.
Sharjah Art Museum's mission is to enrich the cultural life for the Sharjah community and its regional, national, and international visitors through its art collections, programmes, and facilities. The museum has its library which displays over 400 books written in Arabic, English and other languages together with visual and audio materials. In the reception, there are shops for souvenirs, gifts, art materials and books. Their cafe which is located opposite the fine art library offers various foods such as cakes, sandwiches, coffee and tea.

Sharjah Science museum is located in Halwan, Sharjah beside the Sharjah TV station. This museum is very interesting for the visitor especially for the student since this is very interactive. The museum has two sections, one called the Exhibition Hall which features plasma balls to a wall that absorbs the shadow of everyone standing against it. This is also where the guest can test their flexibility, grasp strength and balance, do some cartoon, apply a music synthesizer, construct a puzzle of the human body or visit Playspace as being assisted by the staff which will be enjoyable for young children. The Learning Center section gives you the Science Lab, a computer lab and primary workshop for the students visiting the museum.
This hands-on experience in the museum will surely inspire the visitors since it’s like having fun while learning and discovering science.
Sharjah Archaeological Museum - Sharjah, United Arab Emirates
It is located at the heart of the city. Visitors find it very interesting for its shows the history of Sharjah from its early age or from the Stone Age to the present day. It houses different artifacts, coins, jewelry, pottery, historical weapons, and models of burials, houses, tombs and first form of writing. Also, there is a library that displays huge collection of books, magazines, and reports in the old history. A computer system was built in the display hall that gives you more information about the museum and its exhibits.
The museum aims to preserve, interpret and exhibit its collections and to disseminate knowledge about them in a manner that encourages appreciation, learning, and enjoyment of Sharjah's archaeological heritage.
