UMM AL QUWAIN MUSEUM - Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates
This was known as Umm Al Quwain fort which was found by Al Mualla Royal family. This museum was built after the renovation of the old fort.
The museum was divided into different sections such as The Ruler's properties room, documentation room, al manshar tower, sheikh room, sheikh majlis and sheikhah room. DHOW BUILDING YARD - Umm Al Quwain, United Arab Emirates
This is the place where the skilled craftsmen still building the traditional boats. "Dhow" means the popular image of Gulf and maybe one of the most famous icons in the Arab culture. It refers to the wide range of boat designs in variety of shapes and sizes.In the old town, around the fort, you will see old coral stone houses featuring the original architecture and detailed sculptured plaster work.
